Open UAS 3.0

Summary

The main objective of the OpenUAS 3.0 model is to be affordable and simplistic in materials. The model is designed to serve as a kit with a set of detailed instructions. The 3.0 model is largely composed of posterboard and 3D printed materials. The instructions for this model breaks down each step with details, tips, and visuals to aid the reader's process of assembling the model.

Spring 2023 Updates

With this design, we optimized the NACA 2412 airfoil to create the desired aerodynamic characteristics for the wing. By modifying the original NACA 2412, we increased lift and drag slightly.
